How Can i Connect to My VPS?

Methods of Connecting to VPS:

  • VNC
  • SSH
  • Remote Desktop

VNC Method - Use a Client such as "VNCViewer"

  1. Launch your VNC Client e.g. VNCViewer
  2. Enter the NodeIP::VNC Port e.g. xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx::5901
  3. Click Connect
  4. You will be prompted with a "password" box - if you can't find the password you can go to "custom config" on your SolusVM panel and if you scroll down you can see it in the log. Select then Copy.
  5. Once Connected you can login to your VPS.

SSH Method - User a Client such as "putty"

  1. Open your SSH Client
  2. enter the server ip address  and port (default ssh port is 22)
  3. click connect
  4. username: root
  5. password: serverpasswordhere  (its not visable when typing it in but it is there)

Remote Desktop Method  - Windows Remote Desktop 

  1. Launch Remote Desktop
  2. Enter the server ip then click connect
  3. Login to Windows
